Matthew Uhles, R.PSGT, M.S.

Matthew Uhles is the Director of Operations for The Clinics at Clayton Sleep Institute and an experienced educator and presenter in sleep medicine including lectures and course work at St. Louis University and Forest Park College. Among the topics he covers are, Sleep, Sensation and Perception; Sleep, Learning and Motivation; the Psychology of Sleep, Drugs and Behavior; Sleep and the Physiological Psychology Laboratory; Sleep and Neuroanatomy; and the Physiology of Sleep, Sleep Disorders and PSG Interpretation.

Uhles has contributed to content and/or research abstracts published in the Journal of Traumatic Stress, Sleep Medicine, Journal of Clinical and Experimental Neuropsychology, Sleep and the Acta Oto-Laryngolgica.

Currently, Uhles is a member of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists and the American Association of Sleep Technologists. He is also a regular speaker at the American Academy of Sleep Medicine’s Annual Meeting.

Uhles spent his early career in various research and academic positions with the Multidisciplinary Sleep Medicine Center at Washington University School of Medicine.

His education includes a Master of Science degree in Experimental Psychology and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, both from Saint Louis University.
